Packing and Day 1

We're finally getting caught up on posting our pictures after three days on the road!

Before we could leave Tempe, we had to get everything of Laura's packed, which was not an easy task :) We picked up the RV and the trailer first....

Is it all going to fit?

Just barely fits.

Day 1. The next morning, we headed out of Tempe for Albuquerque where we were staying for the first night. On the way we passed some beautiful scenery and stopped to look at the world’s largest piece of petrified wood.

Annie and Huey were definitely not happy the first day of driving. When the car started Huey immediately hid in the upstairs part of the cab under a blanket and stayed there the whole day, and Annie spent the first day either in one of our laps or sitting right next to us, holding on to the floor for dear life. Will post those pictures later when we can get them off of Matt's phone.

We have more pictures than we can post

In the past 2 days we've been through NM, CO, WY, and most of NE. Tonight it's dinner with Kristen and Brandon in Lincoln. Hopefully we can get some new pics up here. It's just been harder to post directly from my Droid than I thought it would be. Is that a good enough excuse?

Well I took the right plane to PHX, evidenced by the picture of Laura meeting me at the Sky Harbor Gate C Starbucks.

Between then & now (6AMWed), there has been packing & painting, & a night w/ friends.

Pictures of our rig & some of the scenery to follow. Now it's time to drive.

Initial Steps

Some last minute cleaning and time with the girls before the big trip. Do either of them look like they're expecting to have a new brother and sister in a week. I've tried to tell them but I think they're ignoring me.

Also a picture of the plane taking me to PHX for the last regular trip. But so many to choose from.
